Snap, Crackle, Pop!!!

Did you know that rinsing your hair with cool water after shampooing can decrease hair loss, shedding, and breakage?

Yup, hot soapy water opens the cuticle, which is the protective layer of your hair. You can compare the cuticles to the pores of your skin. The hair strands become susceptible to all sorts of damage that could lead to hair loss.

It's an easy fix, though. Rinsing with cool to cold water at the end of your shampoo will close the cuticles and keep your strands snug in their protective layer. Protected hair holds its moisture and stops the snap crackle pop.
